I haven't listed it on etsy yet because i'm trying to get better pictures (damn you, bad lighting)

But I really love how it turned out. Zippers can be superr duffucult. I think i'm going to try making a dinosaur one next!

It's really hard trying to define a style for yourself, but i'm trying my hardest and I think lately it's starting to shine through.

I came across this site today, Cute-plush.com and it definitely inspired me. I really want to try to get into making t-shirt designs, I just am not sure whats the best way in ordering them and selling them on etsy. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

Now..off to work on some more creative thinking..!

So, finally, I am all organized and ready to go. I organized everything, painted it Nightmare before christmas-like purple and topped it off with an Alice in Wonderland poster.

flowers everywhere! but it's winter..

I took a simple drawing I did from my 2D design class, and decided to make pop art out of it!!

what started off as this simple drawing turned into something great! Does anyone know where to order canvas prints?  

craft room makeover!

My craft room definitely needs a makeover, so its gonna happen. Its getting organized, shelves put in, and most of all PAINTED!
I'm gonna have a purple paint sorta like this color:

And the trim is going to be black.
(kinda nightmare before christmas-y themed!)
And we might do some black and white stripes on the ceiling.

It looks pretty haggard right now, but by the end of the week it should be looking good. So keep looking back! If anyone has a light fixture idea, let me know! I'm looking for something creative to do!

Also, i've started on an alice in wonderland perler set.

But I dont know what to make the end products into, and i'm not sure I want to do magnets. If anyone has suggestions, comment!

finished the love birds!

Finally finished my little lovebirds, and listed them on etsy!
I plan on making a couple more, but not too many as i only have so many fur scraps!

Also, last night I was up till the crack of dawn designing my business cards (finally)
Here's a peek at that :

The border looks huge, but after cutting it will be a lot smaller. I originally had it all pink, and then I realized that was kind of overload..so I went with purple! I don't know why this took so long, but it was definitely worth all the time and effort I put into it. I can't wait till they arrive!

Now time for a break today..gonna play in the snow some more. Enjoy it while it lasts! Then more sewing tonight!

So so so super imaginative. It really makes me want to start keeping a sketchbook again! So, I think tomorrow I may go get a fresh one..hmmm. I need to bump up my creativity! So, alas, i'm hitting the sack... to hopefully have some creative dreams.. (such a good source for inspiration..)

a very busy day...

After hours at the doctors office for my boyfriends allergies and asthma and traveling to pittsburgh to get his computer fixed, i'm kind of worn out. Still, when i walked out the door this morning i found some pretty birdie footprints:

my first self-made patterns..

       So, I finally recieved all of my super ultra plush felt from jo-anns! I decided I would try to make my own patterns, as I had never done it before! After a few practice-runs, these are the cuddly creatures I came up with:

Oscar the Businessman Bunny, and Six the not-so-Octopus

     These were super fun to create, and they are both for sale in my Etsy Shop! I'm definitely going to be making alot more plushies in the future, especially for Valentine's day! Hopefully, I'll get some good sales!

It's been snowing like crazy lately, so possibly today i'm going to go out with my Nikon and snap some pretty pictures of it.
